POSITION SUMMARY
This position will drive the Digital Media Sales Strategy supporting the Senior Director of Loyalty, Digital & Payments for North America and lead the selling initiatives to support the comprehensive digital advertising solutions that include in-store, mobile, and at pump media platforms. The candidate will have broad industry knowledge and extensive experience in selling comprehensive integrated digital marketing campaigns to CPG partners and related agencies along with in depth understanding of loyalty applications and CRM solutions. This sales leader needs to be a high-achiever, results oriented person, with a proven track record of delivering against revenue targets who can effectively build sales plans and strategies across all digital platforms. This person needs to collaborate with multiple business functions to support broader growth initiatives of the department. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Identify and evaluate digital advertising opportunities, trends, technologies, and best practices.

·        Responsible for the day-to-day management and selling of advertising campaigns to CPG clients and agencies.

·        Serve as an expert, internally and externally, on all aspects of digital advertising platforms with a focus on branded content, digital couponing, programmatic buying, mobile applications, and loyalty rewards.

·        Drive creation of persuasive sales collateral for digital media platform offerings using market trends and case studies

·        Establish pricing and selling guidelines around targeted couponing, digital promotions, data and analytics.

·        Educate digital sales team on digital capabilities and work with them to prospect and close business with agencies and advertisers.

·        Strategically approach prospects and determine needs, marketing initiatives/objectives, business model, budget cycle and key decision-makers.

·        Develop effective sales proposals and ad sales solutions by utilizing a thorough understanding of appropriate and available inventory.

·        Conduct high-level client sales meetings and presentations to aggressively and professionally move the sales process towards agreement in a timely manner.

·        Meet or exceed assigned revenue goals for digital budget.

·        Prospect and develop key senior level ad agency and CPG relationships.

·        Establish account and sales pipeline by prioritizing and conducting a high volume of weekly sales calls to maximum revenue opportunities.

·        Provide reliable sales forecast, reporting, and results presentation using CRM software.

·        Track, measure and recap campaign performance to clients.

·        Complete regular sales pipelines and revenue forecasts.               

REQUIREMENTS

·        Minimum 5-7 years of success in integrated cross-platform digital advertising sales.

·        Extensive experience selling to CPG clients, leading brand advertisers, and ad agencies.

·        Strong leadership skills with ability to coach and support growing sales and marketing organization.

·        Understanding of loyalty applications and rewards programs.

·        In-depth knowledge of digital advertising and media landscape.

·        Specific knowledge around digital ads, social media and branded content.

·        Experience in selling Out of Home Advertising, Digital Signage, and Digital Couponing.

·        Ability to interpret industry trends and successfully tailor media offerings to provide solutions and maximum revenue generation.

·        Ability to sell conceptual, integrated media programs.

·        Ability to think strategically from a marketing perspective.

·        Highly developed written and oral presentation skills.

·        BS/MS degree in business or marketing or a related field preferred.

·        Proficiency in MS software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
